Professor Mark Ealey
Respected professor in the School of Education in the 1960s. The late Dr. Juanita G. Curtis was an Assistant Professor of Education, and her major field of concentration was an elementary school curriculum. She participated in the Teacher Corps and is remembered fondly for having trained many students to become excellent teachers.

Professor Larry Walker

Following completion of an M.A, in Painting and Drawing at Wayne State University in 1963, Larry Walker joined the UOP faculty, where he served for 20 years. Since 1983 Walker has taught at Georgia -State University, Atlanta. He has twice served as chairman of the National Council of art administrators (1978-79; 1986-87). His paintings have been exhibited at the Detroit art institute, the Smithsonian, the Oakland Museum, the Crockett Museum (1974), the festival of arts and culture, Lagos, Nigeria (1977), and the National Black Arts Festival (1988; 1990). Walker paintings are in the collections of the Detroit Board of Education, the Oakland Museum, the Atlanta Life Insurance Co. and the Haggin Gallery in Stockton.
